About Dunelm Club
The Dunelm Club is a Gentlemen’s Club in Durham City. It is one of Durham’s oldest private members’ clubs, maintaining many of the traditions established when the club opened in 1919.
Dunelm Club Members Facilities
Members are able to make use of the club’s facilities which include a bar, dining room, snooker tables, library and private car park (members should only use the car park when using the club facilities).
The club provides members with a quiet oasis in the middle of the busy and bustling Durham City Centre. Members can enjoy a quiet drink, a friendly game of cards or dominoes or a lively game of snooker in a warm and cosy atmosphere. Occasional outings and golf competitions are held.
Dining at Dunelm Club
The club has a separate dining room which is used for a number of club dinners. The dining room can also be booked by non-members for intimate dining parties for up to 35 guests.
The club leases part of its premises; an adjoining building is presently used as an office suite where Durham City Physio is now based. The club also offers car parking spaces for rent during office hours, Monday to Friday, to local businesses and homeowners. For information about dining or renting facilities at the club you can contact Matthew the Club Steward via the email link provided on this website.
